The BAHC was founded in 1993 as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. It is dedicated to assisting and supporting artists who live and/or work in the Town of Brookhaven and to enhance the cultural life of the community through a wide variety of visual and performing arts events. Activities include regularly scheduled art exhibitions, workshops for adults and children in visual and performing arts, the annual Choral Festival at Brookhaven and so much more. New members are always welcome. So come by and enjoy the works of the many talented local artists or share your own.

The Brookhaven Arts and Humanities Council is pleased to announce a wonderful opportunity for our membership. Beginning in July 2009 the Phoenix Gallery of Bellport has been run as a cooperative gallery under the management of the BAHC. The Phoenix Gallery will not replace our current gallery at Bald Hill, but we hope it will become an integral part of our visual arts program.
